of the agricultural, cultural, historical, environmental, and recreational value
of the California Delta so that this very important resource can be better
understood, protected, enhanced, and enjoyed.

We achieve the mission in two ways:

By helping residents and visitors become aware of the unique Delta,
a 1,000 mile maze of canals that is generally bordered by the
San Francisco Bay on the west, Sacramento on the north, and Stockton on the east.
By putting those millions of Delta fun lovers to work protecting and restoring
the natural resources of this special, but vulnerable place.
